Summer Intern at Media Com
I was hired at Media Com in London to do research and development as an intern into competitors and marketing for certain games companies. During this time I learnt a lot about marketing for games, How to build hype for a game, making effective advertisements and in general how the marketing industry works around games.
It was also a good chance to experience work life inside a large office, similar to how AAA work would be. In This position I was able to visit Twitch and briefly PlayStation HQ in London to see first hand how they operate.

Work Experience as QA Tester at Atom Republic
I Spent a week as a QA Tester at Atom Republic in Guildford. Here I worked on their game "Atom Universe" and reported bugs to the devs. I was able to get some experience in making trailers for new content releases here too, even helping create a trailer for their recent update at the time.
During my work on QA, I first learnt how to work in large group environments using software such as Jira and workflows such as sprints and AGILE. This would become very useful during my second year of University where I would have to document my work in the same format.
